SPARC Bridge year program

Designed for Middle School Basketball Athletes planning an additional developmental year during the 2026–2027 school year.

A structured, experience led by SPARC, where you choose the academic program that best fits your individual needs and goals, paired with elite-level basketball skills training. You have the opportunity to receive academic support through Shanay Howard Consulting, alongside SPARC’s elite basketball training and sports performance programming.

WHAT the byp PROVIDES:

SPARC BYP provides a highly structured, fully supervised environment designed to optimize both academic achievement and athletic performance throughout the Bridge Year.

  • Customized Academic Support – Partner with Shanay Howard Consulting to select a curriculum tailored to your student-athlete’s goals, supported by on-site proctoring to reinforce effective study habits and maintain a focused learning environment.

  • Small Cohort Advantage – With only 12 athletes in the cohort, athletes receive individualized attention, accountability, and mentorship.

  • Integrated Daily Structure – A thoughtfully balanced schedule combines academics, basketball skill development, sports performance training, recovery, and enrichment activities such as mobility, wellness, and mental conditioning.

  • Performance Analytics – Quantitative tracking provides measurable insights into each athlete’s development, helping guide progress in both academics and athletics.

  • Program Timeline – Running approximately August 2026 – May 2027, with breaks and holidays to be finalized. Alternative workouts will be available on select off days to ensure continuous growth.
